Extract Small Buildings w/ GM 'Automatically Extract Vector Features From LiDAR Point Cloud' command

Hi, I'm creating a vector layer of building roofs using the above command from the LiDAR module.  In the screenshot the red are the vector shapes and the light blue is the point cloud.  No matter what settings I use I can't get the function to recognize the smaller buildings.  You can see the smaller buildings as the light blue point clusters.  I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or is this just perhaps a shortcoming of this function?  Thanks!

I've got the same problem. Have you/somebody yet solved this problem. I would be very greatfull to hear the solution.
