Unclassify LiDAR Data in Script

Hiya! I've posted a comment in related thread http://forum.globalmapperforum.com/discussion/comment/48295/ but haven't yet had an indication of a resolution yet, so posting separately. 

Is it possible to reset all points in a certain class to "0"/"Unclassified" and *not* then shuffle them off into another class? I've tried a few variations on EDIT_VECTOR to no avail. It looks like it's part of the LIDAR_CLASSIFY command and then should logically be possible but I am not seeing it.

Unlike Michal in that thread, I'm not going to be able to handle this manually; it's part of a much bigger process that will hopefully run overnight.

    I emailed the GM team and got this response (for those also asking this question/interested):

    "In regards to declassifying LiDAR data, it seems that there has not yet been a script added to the program to do that. I have added your case to  an enhancement request (Ticket #15001). This is an enhancement request for LiDAR scripting additions (to add scripts relating to LiDAR or modifying the EDIT_VECTOR script). I can let you know when there becomes more information on this enhancement. "
