Generating 4m spaced elevation grid from dxf (also with contour lines)

Hi all, 
          I'm trying to create a spaced grid of text levels like the example shown in the following link

Using a high res DXF or a provided DEM, is there an option in GlobalMapper to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
