Tutorials: Scripting Language

Would be nice with a thorough tutorial on the scripting language and some use of it. And also if there exist any other tutorials on Global Mapper online about any subject related to GlobalMapper.

Off-topic: Sorry for spamming the "Suggestion Box" but have to write my ideas somewhere:)

    There are links to several tutorials for Global Mapper on the main User's Manual page (get to this from Help menu in Global Mapper).

    For the scripting language, the best way to learn about this is often to save a Global Mapper workspace file after you have data loaded. Since a workspace file is just a script file, you can look at in a text editor and see exactly what commands were used to get the data loaded that way. It doesn't help with other operations, like exporting, but at least it gives some examples.
