Tiling is going to take forever

I'm trying to export Google Maps tiles, and it says it would take about 12 days to complete the task (zoom level 13). I have 10 overlays that cover about 4 000 square kilometers. Is there any way to make it faster? I do export from a workspace, is it a bad thing?

Hello,

What version of Global Mapper are you using?  Global Mapper 17.2 has new functionality that will take advantage of multiple cores when performing tiled raster exports.  This should speed up your export significantly.
