Need drawing tools in Map Editor

Need some basic drawing tools in the map editor, line, rectangle, circle etc.

    Maybe a grid lines (ticks and coordinates) outside the frame will be very useful.

    Grid ticks and coordinates are currently available in the Map Layout Editor.  

    Download the latest release of Global Mapper.  In the Map Layout Editor, right-click on the map view element and choose Properties... from the context menu.  You can specify grid ticks on the Grid Frame tab of the Element Properties dialog.
