Reproject LiDAR las files
Hi,
I have one quick question, can i reproject my lidar data in las format using global mapper? if yes, can anyone give me a simple guideline on how to perform this? I try to run batch convert/reproject function but on the toolbox for selection of files format (current files format and transformed files format) there is no selection for las lidar files format. I want to do a reprojection from RSO kertau 1948 to UTM 48N WGS 84

Hello,
What version of Global Mapper are you using? In GM 17.1, the Batch Convert/Reproject command allows for LAS input and output.
To reproject a single file- Load the file into Global Mapper
- On the Projection tab of the Configuration window, choose your target projection definition.
- Click OK. The data in the main view will be reprojected (thought the source data will not be affected).
- Export to LAS using File->Export->Export Vector/Lidar...
