Reproject LiDAR las files

Hi,

I have one quick question, can i reproject my lidar data in las format using global mapper? if yes, can anyone give me a simple guideline on how to perform this? I try to run batch convert/reproject function but on the toolbox for selection of files format (current files format and transformed files format) there is no selection for las lidar files format. I want to do a reprojection from RSO kertau 1948 to UTM 48N WGS 84

    Hello,

    What version of Global Mapper are you using?  In GM 17.1, the Batch Convert/Reproject command allows for LAS input and output.

    To reproject a single file
    1. Load the file into Global Mapper
    2. On the Projection tab of the Configuration window, choose your target projection definition.
    3. Click OK.  The data in the main view will be reprojected (thought the source data will not be affected).
    4. Export to LAS using File->Export->Export Vector/Lidar...
