Search Broken?

When I use the Search function and enter an address I get an error:
Global Mapper
Error finding address Atlanta, +GA
Address search query failed with status code 400.
Address finder.cpp - 350
Build Time: Feb 27 2008 16:35:14

We are using GM9 (tested the same thing in GM8 and it is broken there too).

Best regards,
David

    It's been working for me.

What exactly are you typing when you get that error?

There have been some very recent changes on the address search web server requiring changes to Global Mapper. I have placed a new build at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper9.zip with the changes for you to try. Simply download that file and extract the contents into your existing v9.xx installation folder to give it a try.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

I've just run into exactly the same problem on Global Mapper 8. Is a fix available?

There is now a new v8 build with the fix at http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper8.zip. Simply download that file and extract it over your existing v8 installation to give it a try.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,
