I very much appreciate the new lat-long creation tool in Map Layout. One suggestion for the future would be to give the option of having the lat-long values stacked on top of the tick marks instead of next to them:
Thanks again for all the work--the improvements since I purchased GM 15 have been amazing.

Hello,
This functionality will be included in Global Mapper 17.2, scheduled to be released in the middle of May.

GM Team,
Good day.
Just want to ask, in relation to the next functionalities for map layout, will the Datum and Projection used in the Map be displayed also and if there's a possibility, can these Major Parts of the Map (e.g. Title, Scale, Legend, Compass/North Arrow, Location, etc.) be easily drag or something "click-hold-drag" capability just to minimize the manual input of the position in the map?
Thanks GM Team.
Regards,

Are you using the Map Layout Editor to set up your layout? The ability to move elements using click-and-drag is already part of the Map Layout Editor. Once you click an element to select it, you can drag it using the left mouse button.
I have added feature request #17961 to add the ability to include map projection information in your layout. We will post a message on this thread when the status of the feature request changes.
Cheers,
Bob
