Is there a way to generate a 3D polyline with elevations from a CAD file with 2D polylines?
I have already generated a TIN and imported the CAD file with 2D polylines but when I export the 3D polylines all the z values are zero.

1. Add Elevation field to 2d polyline and add elevation value. Then convert your 2d polyline to DXF R2000 it will convert your data as 3d polyline (but all the vertex has same height what your added in elevation field)-result is constant height for all the vertex
2.Use drop element on surface tool in terra model and drop your 2d line on surface created using your tin then convert your line as shape all the vertex in your 2d now has elevation respective to surface- vertex height has different according to your surface.
