SRTM to Irish ITM Coordinates

Hi,
I have searched and I cant seem to find a question like this asked before, so apologies if it has, but is there a way to convert srtm coordinates to Irish ITM  coordinates using Global mapper v17?
I am trying to export the coordinates so that I can import the points into Civil 3D.
Thanks in advance.

After you load the SRTM data, use the Configuration dialog to change the projection.  I didn't see Irish Transverse Mercator (ITM) in the list, but you can click the Init from EPSG... button, and specify 2157, which is the EPSG code for ITM.  Once you change the projection, the new projection will be used when you export the data.

  • Thanks a million. That worked a treat.

  • When you open ArcASCII layer of the Western Hemisphere, taken away http://www.marine-geo.org/tools/GMRTMapTool/ - the territory of Brazil, the state of Amazonas, the projection of your program carries it into the Gulf of Guinea, the coast of Africa, using layer taken from the Eastern hemisphere's oK ............... Help set up the projection ..........
