Possible to fill range ring with colours based on values?

Hi there
I would like to generate a risk map of a particular spot radiating outwards.
Meaning to say, I have a location in lat lon and an associated distance (e.g. range ring) for which further distance would result in lesser risk. May I know if it is possible to show up the risk using colours based on associated risk values? How should I format the data?
Thanks
Corse

After you create the range rings, each ring will have a new attribute, RANGE, that indicates its distance from the center point. You can use this attribute to generate a style for each range ring area feature.

thanks bob. Is it possible to create and use other attributes to colour the range rings?

Yes...you can control the style based on any attribute, so if you want to add a new attribute to the range rings, you could use that new attribute. The attributes can use any type of data, but if you use numeric data, you will have the option to allow Global Mapper to interpolate the color within a range, or use specific colors for discrete values.
