Ground Point Classification Progress

I have a 7gb point cloud that I have loaded into GlobalMapper 17 with LiDAR module activated.

I began an automatic ground point classification job 11 hours ago using the LiDAR module, but have never seen a progress dialog or anything similar to indicate whether or not the job is progressing.  Windows Task Manager seems to indicate that there is action (see attached), but is this expected behaviour?  I should just wait until control is returned to the application?

I recommend getting the latest release of <a href="http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/products/global-mapper-download.php">Global Mapper</a> to see if the problem has already been fixed.  If the problem persists in the latest release, then your best bet is to send an e-mail describing your workflow and the results (error message, etc.), with a copy of your sample data, to Blue Marble Geographics support (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com).  This will ensure that the support team sees the problem and can provide a timely response.  Thank you.
