Is it possible to add a scale bar to the 3D view of a map?

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    I believe that we have an extant request to add some form of vertical scale indicator, but haven't seen a request for a scale bar yet. How do you envision that working, given that we currently always display 3D scenes in perspective?

    Just as an aside, note that the 3D axis orientation indicator does scale to a percentage of the scene bounds, and that percentage is user-settable in the 3D View Properties dialog (Orientation Indicator / Scale). That may help, for the time being.

    If you have more specific ideas for what you want, they'd be welcome.
