Dwg has 3D data on a frozen layer - cant create an elevation grid

I am opening a dwg which apparently has 3D height data in it but GM says that there is no height data in the file. It turns out that the height data is in 3 layers called which i can see. The layers say they have 0 features but 300+ deleted features. Can I get those deleted features back and create a elevation grid? Thanks Gilly

    What version of Global Mapper are you using? If you are using v16, have you updated to the latest released version? If the problem persists in the latest version, please send a description of your workflow and the results, along with a copy of your data, to Blue Marble Geographics Support (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com).
