profile section trough tunnel pointclud

Dear all,

I would like to export cross sections over tunnel pointcloud data. If points are distributed in real 3D (points are on the same spot but with different Z value) surface creation tool can't produce tube but rather noise between floor to the cieling of the tunnel. One approach is to split data to ground/non ground and create separate surfaces and than join again but I was not pleased with results. Does anyone has better way to do it?

Hi Rok, There is not currently a method for creating a tubular surface. If you want to send in some sample data. We can submit an enhancement request to the Development Team to consider adding this functionality to a future release of the application. Please email the data to geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com.
