Global Mapper v25.0

WGS84 to Camacupa Transformation

If a user imported data with a CRS of WGS84 UTM32S meters into a project with the same CRS and then selected Camacupa UTM33S as the projection for the purpose of reprojecting/exporting the data.  Which of the WGS84 to Camacupa transformations is used?  I have used Geographic Calculator to try and verify which transformation is used but I haven't been able to duplicate the results that I see in Global Mapper.

PROJCS["Camacupa_UTM_zone_33S",GEOGCS["GCS_CAMACUPA",DATUM["D_Camacupa",SPHEROID["Clarke_1880_RGS",6378249.145,293.465]],PRIMEM["Greenwich",0],UNIT["Degree",0.017453292519943295]],PROJECTION["Transverse_Mercator"],PARAMETER["latitude_of_origin",0],PARAMETER["central_meridian",15],PARAMETER["scale_factor",0.9996],PARAMETER["false_easting",500000],PARAMETER["false_northing",10000000],UNIT["Meter",1]]

    Hi Les,
You can find any of the built in shifts in Global Mapper in the Help document in the application under Supported Datums>Datums.  The default shift for Camacupa in Global Mapper aligns with EPSG 1326 Camacupa to WGS84(9):

    dX: -41.06m  dY:-374.56m  dZ:-226.29m  rX: 0.0000sec  rY: 0.0000sec  rZ: 0.5540sec  Scale(k):0.21900

You can also enable GeoCalc Mode and then have all the options for Camacupa as well.  Or you could manually add any of the parameters from Calculator as a custom transformation in GM since they are all either 3 or 7 parameter shifts.  Does that help?

    Regards,
    Sam
