Calculating volume between two layers
I have a topographic contours grid over a groundwater elevation grid and a site boundary with no elevation value. I'd like to find out how much volume there is from the topography to the groundwater within the site boundary. Is this something someone could help me with please?

Hi RMack,
To measure the volume between two surfaces you first need two surfaces. You arleady have the elevation grid for the ground water, now you just need to convert the controur grid into a elevation grid.
I'm not sure what the best way to do that is. Once you have that you can simply measure the volume between the two surfaces by going to Analysis > Measure volume between surfaces and using the site boundary as an outline to crop it to.
