Using GlobalMapper v16.2 (b051815)

I uploaded a pdf of a 300 DPI color map that was georeferenced and then exported as an 8-bit Image Optimized Tiff image.

The image in Global Mapper appears as a gray scale image instead of color. However, the metadata indicates it is recognized as an unsigned 8-bit color tiff. Opening image in other software is in color. Exporting as a 24-bit color image yields no issues, but much larger file size.

Attached is a screenshot.

Any ideas?

    Hello,

If you have not already done so, I recommend getting the latest release of Global Mapper to see if the problem has already been fixed. If you have already done that, or the problem persists in the latest release, then your best bet is to send an e-mail describing your workflow and results to Blue Marble Geographics support (geohelp@bluemarblegeo.com). This will ensure that the support team sees the problem and can determine the solution. Thank you.
