Custom Font doesn't show in menu

I used alittle program called "Fony" to create a 27 point raster font with some special symbols. fony
The font installed properly in Windows and is available on the list in a variety of other programs (like Photoshop, Notepad, etc) but it doesn't show on the font dropdown menu in the GlobalMapper Modify Feature dialog. Is there some way to add it, or is this kind of font not compatible?
I am using Globalmapper 12 on Windows 7, if that matters.

Answering my own question here.... Seems obvious that GlobalMapper can't use this type of raster font. So I used another free program, "Type light 3.2" from CR8 Software to make a TrueType font with my custom symbols. This works correctly in Globalmapper.
