Been trying to do an advanced feature selection. I've selected a load of building polygons which lie on top of my LIDAR las point cloud. Then I right click and do - advanced feature selection - select all points within selected area(s). GM thinks about it for a while and then chucks the error message below??

Unhandled exception processing command message 33085 with code 0.
PolygonClipperEx.cpp - 2613

    James,

From the stack trace I was able to determine what the error condition was and where it was detected in the code. I'll dig a little deeper to see if I can determine how that condition might have come about. This may be related to the point selection problem you described in an earlier post. I'll post back when I have more info.

Hi thanks for the reply. I got around the error...I think it must have been to do with how I selected the initial polygons with the digitizer tool by dragging a box around them. Some features overlapped the edges of the box I dragged. I used a different method to select the polygons instead by digitizing a box, selecting that and then doing an advanced selection to select all polygons which were contained in or intersected the box. Once I had my polygons selected in this way I then did a further advanced selection option to select all points within these polygons and it worked.

    Regards
    James
