As i am a new user of G.M. i have many questions
Please some help on this:
I scan a map with elevation lines on it.My question is how i can make those elevation lines show in 3D mode.I know that i have to convert them to vector lines but i don't know how to add the elevation for each line.

When you create the new line with the Digitizer Tool, just add an attribute value with a name of 'ELEVATION' and the value set to the height (like '50 m' or '100 ft'). Once you have your lines with elevation attributes created, you then open the Overlay Control Center, right-click on the layer with the elevation lines (likely the User Created Features layer), then select the option to create an elevation grid from the layer. You can then view that in 3D.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I follow your info but when iask to create an elevation grid from the layer it show a pop up window with this:There must be tree unic points of known elevation to create an elevation grid.
    What i do wrong?????

Did you add the ELEVATION attribute to your features with a correct elevation value? It sounds like Global Mapper cannot determine an elevation value for the features, so it is unable to generate an elevation grid as it does not have any elevation information.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

Yes i add the elevation attribute. When you say ''with a correct elevation value'' what you mean? I add a number in this form (100 when the elevation in the line is 100m and 200 when the elevation in the map is 200m)
    ?????

Can you perhaps save a workspace or package file with the data so that I can take a look and see what is wrong?

    Thanks,
