Datum adjustment for WMS data
mxmxmx
Global Mapper User
For files loaded with a wrong datum I can change it via the Control Center (Options->Projection tab). For WMS overlays this doesn't seem to work as expected in Global Mapper 9.02. It only changes the bounding box of the loaded WMS data but doesn't adjust the datum for the data itself.
(I need this because I'm using data from a WMS server that claims to be using WGS84 but the datum is MGI instead.)
Could someone please look into this.
Thanks!

For WMS data correcting the projection wouldn't really work in the traditional manner unless the WMS server also supports that projection/datum. What I would suggest is exporting the data from the WMS server out to a new file (like an ECW), then load that back into Global Mapper and correct the datum for that file.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
