Hi,
I was wondering if there could be a tool for measuring heights better. Say draw a polygon or circle around an area and it spits out the values for the lowest and highest points and possibly the height change.
Thanks!

If you open a DEM in your workspace, and use the digitizer to create a polygon, you can then select that polygon using the Digitizer.PNGbutton, and then right click. From the right click options, choose Analysis/Measurement > Calculate Elevation/Slope Stats for selected feature. This will display a popup containing several different statistics, including minimum, maximum, and average elevation. They will also be added to the feature attributes.
