Create a new polygon 500 feet either side of an existing single lien..eg Railway Line

Have the KMZ path file derived from tracing the existing railway line. Need to get a 200 foot buffer around it to create a new polygon.

Here is how to create a buffer area:
1) Select line(s) with digitizer tool
2) Right click and select Advanced Feature Creation | BUFFER
3) Specify the buffer distance and units
4) If the railway is made up of multiple line features, you may want to check the "Combine Overlapping Buffer Areas" option.
5) As of version 15.2, you can also specify single sided buffers and square vs rounded corners.
