Loading a GMW via GMS to Automate Task

Hi Mike,

I've got a challenge I need to solve. I am wondering if it's possible for me via Script to load a GMW file and then export a vector SHP from it?

I've tried a few different approaches but haven't had any success. If I could script it, it would save me a day's worth of hand work and I'd be done in a few mins.

Yes, since a GMW workspace is just a script, you can use the EMBED_SCRIPT command to load that .gmw from another script. See Global Mapper Scripting Reference for details. Once loaded, use EXPORT_VECTOR to export out a Shapefile.
