Adding LIDAR, Rail Feature Type

Hi,

I saw the previous discussion regarding feature type and Lidar class here: http://www.globalmapperforum.com/forums/suggestion-box/10763-suggest-name-changed-undefined.html.

I've also know that I can create a Lidar, Railroad point type but I have no way to link it to the ASPRS classification.

My question is could either Lidar points be set to support changing feature type, or the LIDAR, Railroad point class be added and linked to the class definition for rail?

I've added a new built-in 'Lidar, Railroad' point type so you can work with those as normal points. I have placed new builds with the latest changes at the links below:

32-bit: http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper15.zip
64-bit: http://www.bluemarblegeo.com/downloads/global-mapper/global_mapper15_64bit.zip

Simply download the .zip file for the build that you are using and extract over your existing installation files. The likely locations to extract to are as follows:

32-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\GlobalMapper15
64-bit: C:\Program Files\GlobalMapper15_64bit

Thanks Mike, that did the trick. LAS to DGN now exports with the rail level separate from unclassified.
