Hello,

I have a LANDSAT (mrSID) file that is 22628 x 18605 px. in size.

I want to export a smaller portion of the image, or basically crop the image, with the area of interest in the center of the exported image.

That is easy enough to do, but I also want the cropped area to be square, or for example, 16384 x 16384 px.

I have been simply using the gridding option to export a large number of 4096px squares, then importing all but the right and bottom margins (that are not square due to round off) and then exporting all into one square image.

Is there some way to do this in one step?

When you do your export go to the Export Bounds tab and draw a box about where you want your export to be. Once the "draw a box" dialog comes back and the coordinates get populated in the dialog, select the option that uses a width/height value and make the width and height the same. This should result in a square image.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike
