Export selected features

Hi

Would be possible to have the option for when exporting vector data, to only export the selected features? I often want to export a subset of the loaded vectors and rather than switching off numerous layers, it is easier to select just the ones you want. Perhaps an option on the export format dialogue as shown?

    Hello,

    Thank you for using Global Mapper. It may not surprise you to know that you are not the first person to request this feature. We currently have item #10653 in our task list to track implementation in a future version of Global Mapper. We will post a message here on the forum when it is available.

    In the meantime, as a work-around, you can do this:

    1) Use Ctrl+C to copy the selected objects to the clipboard
    2) Open another instance of Global Mapper
    3) Use Ctrl+V to paste those objects into the view
    4) Export the data

    Thank you for your suggestion. I have logged your request against an existing enhancement request to export selected features to the Export Vector Format options in Global Mapper.

    The work order number is: 10653.

    Hi, this feature was implemented a while ago; however individual features can only be saved as a csv file. Could an option be to save features individually as geojson files in a (near-) future...?

    This would allow to upload areas to the satellite image servers such as the Copernicus browser , for instance. Very helpful.
