EXPORT_ANY not recognising tab files appropriately

Finally got back to using the script...I am getting the following error.
Importing file L:\Vector_Data\Administrative\Boundaries\Local_Govt\QLD\TAB\QLD_LGA_July07_LGReform_region.TAB...

Unsupported table type 'SHAPEFILE' in file L:\Vector_Data\Administrative\Boundaries\Local_Govt\QLD\TAB\QLD_LGA_July07_LGReform_region.TAB. This type of .TAB file cannot be read by this library.

ERROR: Unknown TYPE value <LAST_LOADED> in EXPORT_ANY command.

I understand that it can not export shapefiles as the tab files includes lines and points...but it shouldn't even be trying.

The input in MAPINFO so the output should be as well.
