Hello there,

The checkbox to use (convert from) Decimal Degrees instead of DMS for entries in the COGO function seems broken for entries below "DDD.60" - e.g. 300.43 becomes 300-43-00 and 300.59 becomes 300-59-00. Upwards from 300.60 the conversion seems correct and that becomes 300-36-00. I didn't test the full range of conversions.

Thanks for looking into this,

Mark

17,238I think you are mis-understanding what that checkbox means. If you check that box then a decimal bearing values is interpreted as: DDD.MMSS, so a value of 300.43 is 300 degrees and 43 minutes rather than the standard decimal interpretation. If the value after the decimal is greater than 60 then the checkbox doesn't make sense and it goes back to the standard interpretation.

You would only want to check that option if you want to enter degree/minute/seconds as decimals rather than a standard separated string, like '300 43'.

Thanks,

Mike

Sorry for the bother.
