Hello, trying to link to USGS/State of Alaska WMS at Alaska Geochemical Database

WMS link is: Alaska Geochemical Database

Using GM 15.1 64bit.

Link saves into GM just fine but when I try to connect nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Are you receiving an error when attempting to load in a layer from the WMS? I would suggest confirming with the data provider that the server is running and available for data distribution.

I got a message back from the USGS Admin and they state the server is up and running so the error must be on my end. See attached jpg for the error message.

I'm not able to pull the data either. The WMS GetCapabilities document is provided fine, but I get the same error as you about a bad layer name, but the layer name in the request matches what the server says is there.

I did notice that it looks like you can just download the raw files for local use as Shapefiles or KML from Alaska Geochemical Database, so I would suggest just doing that since the WMS service doesn't seem quite right.
