Viewing specific Digital Globe layers...

I'm a Digital Globe subscriber. When I view an area, I can see all the available imagery for the area. However, I'd like to only view specific layers -- for example, when I use DG's browser-based product, I can narrow down the imagery I'd like to view based on imagery dates, cloud cover, color, etc. Is there a means to do this in Global Mapper?

After you enter your DigitalGlobe client ID and get to the DigitalGlobe Download Options dialog, you can change the 'Imagery Source' option at the bottom of the dialog to select a particular image swath rather than using the best available at each location. Each available swath will list things like resolution, cloud cover, date, and much more.

I guess I'm missing something. When I open Digital Globe, I've only had to enter my username/password. I've never seen a DG Download Options dialog.

Are you using the built-in DigitalGlobe source in Global Mapper or adding your own custom source? The built-in one should come up first with a dialog asking for your DG client ID, then after that a list of available sources for your area of interest.

I had it added as a custom source...the original alphanumeric string didn't work the first few times I tried it, but hey, it's working now. Thanks for the help!
