limitation in number of jpeg layers ?

Hello,

I have to import in global mapper a large number of layers in GlobalMapper v9 (srtms and jpeg files).When I have more than 400 or 500 layers i can't open anymore jpeg tiles and I have "unknown error loading JPEG file" error.

Did someone ever meet this problem ?

    Sylo,

    When working with that large a number of files I would suggest using the File->Create New Map Catalog menu command to create a map catalog to manage the loading and unloading of the layers as needed for display and export. This should prevent the errors.
