Hi
I have a point shapefile and wanted to export it as x,y,z ASCII triples. I couldn't see any of the export options that would allow this. Have I missed something??? The Arc Ungenerate didnt include the attribute value.
thanks
mike

Thanks for the reply. Unfortuantely that seems to export on a record by record basis, rather than as x,y,z triples. I did try that .....

The Simple ASCII Text export should work, as should the CSV export option. Just make sure not to include attributes with either option if all that you want is the XYZ coordinates.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
