Hello,

I searched, but could not find information about licensing and usage requirements and restrictions for downloaded World Imagery data.

If the image is used in a briefing, how do we put proper attribution for the image?

Thanks,
-M

If you go to the Metadata dialog for the layer from the Control Center one of the tabs should include the Terms of Service. Or you can right-click on the source in the online download dialog and get the terms.

    Thanks,

I have always assumed that World Imagery was free to use, including for commercial purposes, but having looked at the ARCGIS site that opens when you right-click on the World Imagery link, it really is not clear.  Can anybody clarify?

I read the summary of the terms of use, and it sounds like you can use the data as you please as long as you are using Esri software.  If you are not using Esri software, you must purchase an ArcGIS Online subscription.  To clarify this, you probably should contact Esri directly.

    Cheers,
