Currently Lidar point clouds don't export directly to KML/KMZ files. Those are XML-based formats that would get extremely huge with any significant number of points. Do you actually want the 3D Lidar points in the KML/KMZ file, or maybe do you want to grid it and export the rendered grid which would be much more efficient?
I could update the KML/KMZ export to include each Lidar point as a Placemark, but anything but a tiny area of points would create a KML/KMZ file that almost nothing could load.

Do not update the KML/KMZ export! I didn't mind that that format is not appropriate for point clouds.
