Create lines based on defined spacing
LEG
Global Mapper User
I would like to create a series of parallel lines with a defined spacing, using an initial drawn line.
Then query those lines in batch using the path profile tool, define the sample count / spacing distance, and append the path details to each line.
Then export the points created by the sample count / spacing distance tool with the line ID, and elevation added to each point

This is not something that you can really do in an automated fashion in Global Mapper. I would suggest perhaps looking at the Global Mapper SDK on the Developers page at GLOBAL MAPPER as it offers all of those capabilities.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike

It would not be possible to script this with the current functionality available in the scripting language.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
