I just learned about the DEFINE_LAYER_STYLE functionality in the scripting language and was wondering if anyone would be able to help.

Just as a test style I have something like this:

GLOBAL_MAPPER_SCRIPT VERSION=1.00

DEFINE_LAYER_STYLE NAME="TEST_STYLE" TYPE="AREA"
LayerStyle=2
Type=0
AttrName=DEPTH CURVE OR CONTOUR VALUE HIGH
InterpolateNumeric=1
AttrVal=20
AttrAreaStyle=4294901825,0,1,2097152,0.0
AttrFont=~0~534799372~0.000~0~0
END_DEFINE_LAYER_STYLE

When specifying an AttrVal, is there any way to do ranges for numeric values such as AttrVal>0 and AttrVal<20? Even in the GUI, I only see a way to set the style based on attributes for a specific value.

Or is there another way to achieve this functionality that I am missing?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Does the InterpolateNumeric flag mimic this behavior by simply applying the style for any values in between the specified values?

    I didn't see a way to edit my first post so I am sorry for the double post.
