Global Mapper v9.02 Released - Adds Virtual Earth Export

Global Mapper Software LLC is pleased to announce the availability
of Global Mapper v9.02 at
http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper_setup_v902.exe . Just
download that file and run it to install v9.02.

Numerous significant enhancements and bug fixes have been made to
Global Mapper since the v9.01 release. The most significant changes
are described below:

- Added support for exporting any loaded data into tiles for use in
MS Virtual Earth.
- Added ability to apply elevation values from loaded terrain data to
point features using a right-click option in the Digitizer/Edit tool.
- Added Vertices button to the Feature Info dialog to allow
displaying and editing the location and per-vertex elevations for
line and area features and displaying per-vertex time stamps for line
features.
- Added support for loading German Topo/Elevation maps in MPR/MPH
format.
- Added ability to batch convert to DTED and raster KMZ formats.

All of the other numerous changes are listed in the What's New
document that is displayed during installation or on the News-
>Release Notes page at GLOBAL MAPPER.

Note that this is a free upgrade for registered users of any Global
Mapper v9.xx product. Registered Global Mapper v8.xx users can
purchase an upgrade for only $99 US from the Purchase page at
