Hello,

Thank you for using Global Mapper.

Global Mapper can not import data directly from an Excel spreadsheet. Your best bet is to save the data as a comma-separated value (CSV) file , and then import that file using the File->Open Generic ASCII Text File(s) option.

Importing Esri .mxd files is not currently supported in Global Mapper. Is this something you need to import on a regular basis?

Hi Dave, you shouldn't have any problem going from the Excel and exporting as a dbf.
