How to get 32bit Elevation when using a script to batch process multiple files.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to convert 600 XYZ (ASCII) files to 32bit elevation, and I want to export to GEOTIFF format.

I have written a script to batch this, but the result I get after conversion is always 16bit rather than32 bit. I can't see an option in the scripting reference to force the creation of 32bit.

I enclose the script below, can anyone help please?

Many thanks in advance.
Keith.
GLOBAL_MAPPER_SCRIPT VERSION=1.00
UNLOAD_ALL

// Loop over all files in a folder and convert them
DIR_LOOP_START DIRECTORY="D:\Work\XYZ1\" FILENAME_MASKS="*.xyz" RECURSE_DIR=NO
// Import an xyz elevation file from a directory.
IMPORT FILENAME="%FNAME_W_DIR%" TYPE=AUTO
// Export to a new tif elevation file.
EXPORT_ELEVATION FILENAME="%DIR%%FNAME_WO_EXT%.tif" TYPE=GEOTIFF SPATIAL_RES_METERS=0.25 SAMPLING_METHOD=NEAREST_NEIGHBOR GEN_PRJ_FILE=NO

// Unload the loaded data
UNLOAD_ALL
// End the loop
DIR_LOOP_END
