Can the free ACME Mapper be DL'd into GM(13.2)?

Greetings again
As a substitute for World Imagery, I have been using ACME Mapper, Printed as PDF(ANSI size C)300 DPI, converted to TIF in Photoshop and Rectified in GM(currently 13.2) and am fairly satisfied with it.
But as the title suggests, can the ACME Labs maps be opened directly into GM.

Sometimes, when using a Wikipedia article on a place, you can click on the cords in the top right, which takes one to the GeoHack page of available maps
It would be nice to have some of these open in GM as well

    Craig,

Does the ACME Mapper product provide any access URLs or is it not made for consumption outside of their interface? I will note that there are ways to access some extremely popular mapping services in Global Mapper by adding the right access URL, but I will leave it up to members of the community to share that information rather than providing it through an official channel :)

    Thanks,

There is only the URL of the current map open in the internet window, for 77 Water Street Hallowell, Maine it is
    ACME Mapper 2.0
I tried pasting that into the GM file Open box, but it couldn't determine the overlay type

Which brings me to the next question
How does the Find Data Online command actually open something inside GM when it only opens a web browser pointing to places on the internet. This is where one would copy the URL, and paste it in the File Open screen, I presume
But then one needs to know which "Overlay Type to select from the list...

The ACME map page indicates that it just passes on through to TerraServer, but the Terraserver-USA data, but that server hasn't been around for a while now (they used to be built in to Global Mapper), so they must be pointing to something else, like Bing Maps or Google Maps, since they have a vector layer on top of the imagery.

That URL would generate a JPG image most likely, but really to create a useful source it needs to use one of the standard tile schemes so that Global Mapper can know how to generate URLs for particular areas at certain zoom scales. The server that actually hosts the data (i.e. probably Bing or Google) does conform to the 'Google Maps' tiling scheme so if you know the URL for that you can directly add that as an online source. Of course doing so violates the Terms of Service of those sites so we can't condone doing that or tell you how.

    Thanks,
