searching for cad lines

Hi everyone, I'm a marine geologist from Rome, Italy.
I like very much GM, but i have a problem with lines. I'm interested in creating new symbles for lines, like I can do with AutoCad lines. In GM there are only a few lines (like striped, dot, railroad etc.)... Do you know if there is a .dll file that I can modify to create some new symbles? Or I can find it on this site... or I can buy it online?

    There is not currently any way to add custom line symbols in Global Mapper. Those have to be built-in to the software itself.

    my society is interested to buy this program but we search for this kind of lines, cause we have to interpretate very different landscape....
    Is this possible to re-write a part of the program to create this lines we need?
    I know that this is not an easy request.... sorry :(

    This is something that we hope to do in a future release, but unless you just need a very simple line style, it might be a bit before we can get to such a request.
