Hello, just wondering, say I load up some gps ground control points (so am within a known coordinate system / projection) and I want to draw say a square polygon of 120 x 120m. What is the easiest way of doing this. Thanks.

If you have the latest Global Mapper (v14.2) you can use the Digitizer Tool to quickly stamp out squares of a fixed size on the ground. Just right-click in the Digitizer Tool and select the Create Area/Polygon Feature submenu command to create a rectangle of a fixed area. Enter 14400 square meters (120m x 120m), then your cursor should change to a square of that size so you can stamp out the squares.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
Mike
