Transparency in KML import

I am having trouble importing a KML file with several LineString placemarks in it. Everything works great except the transparency value for the color of the imported line is not preserved. Do you know if there is something wrong with the KML file or if transparency is not supported yet for the imported vector data? (See attached KML file).

    Global Mapper does not support partially transparent (i.e. translucent) line features. Only translucent area features are supported.
