Tutorial 11 - Exporting to Google Maps

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to export Global Mapper data to create a Google Maps HTM file.

Very easy and very cool.

You can get a Google Maps API key here

You can download the sample data I use for this tutorial here (you'll need a free registration first)

nice feature ;-)

but it didn't work with IE - only Safari or Firefox.

Anton, What version of IE are you using? I created a googlemap tonight and it loaded fine in IE8.

Hello

I enjoyed the video tutorial very much, thank you. I hope to use the functionality on my website. To upload the data near real time from a mobile platform so anyone with Google Maps could see a snapshot of my "vessel" on the Google Map (data that is refreshed in some automated fashion).

I will appreciate the comments you will give me about possible application...
