Global Mapper Blog

A very neat feature has been added to Global Mapper today!  Now you have the ability to rotate symbols.

You can try out this new feature by first downloading the latest Global Mapper build at:

 http://www.globalmapper.com/global_mapper10.zip

Simply open and extract it over your exisiting Global Mapper installation.

 The easiest way to create your own rotated symbol is to:

1) Open the configuration dialog box:

2) Select the "Point Styles Tab"

3) Select the Point Type and then specifiy the desired rotation:

4) Select the point feature and specify the point as the newly created or edited point style.
