In case you missed the annoucement yesterday in the forum. Mike has announced that Global Mapper 10 Beta is now available for download. This download will run along any currently installed copy of Global Mapper so you don't have to worry about it installing over your current registered copy of a previous version.
What is so great about Global Mapper 10? Here are just some of the new features:
Coordinate Converter
Convert a single coordinate between any two supported projections
Search in exisiting results
When using the search by "Attributes, Names and Descriptions" you can refine your search by limiting the new search to the exisiting search results:
New! Border Styles
You can now add a border style to selected areas and polygons.
Crop a raster to selected area feature
You can now crop a raster to a selected area or polygon.
There are many other improvements that have been made in Global Mapper 10 Beta and many more to come before the final release.
You can download a copy of Global Mapper 10 Beta here .
If you would like to go ahead and purchase a version 10 upgrade license you can get one for only $89. You can also purchase a full licensed copy of Global Mapper 10 for only $254 here.

When I export road shapefiles, there is "Default Background Layer" with google maps street/satellite/terrain options.
The new tiles have their own type along with the existing Google map types.
I would like the new tiles to be overlayed on the existing Google Map & Satellite layers. So that when I click "Hybrid" button in google map ,it should show the google road map& and my road (shapefile which is being converted)map overlayed along with satellite image.
Can you please give me the solution...?
