Breaking up an ecw file

Hi All,

My name is Phillip. This is my first post on this forum.

I have an ecw file that is 2GB in size. I need to break it up into a series of smaller files to overlay into various Auotcad drawings. How can i do this and can i keep it in the ecw format?

Phil,

The easiest thing is to simply load the ECW file, then use the File->Export Raster->Export ECW menu command to export it to new smaller ECW files. Use the Gridding tab of the ECW export dialog to setup how you want to split your ECW file up into smaller pieces.
